Alex Thatcher is a manager with KSM Business Technology, LLC (KSMBT). Alex’s primary responsibilities include leading companies to the next level of organizational maturity in terms of strategy, structure, processes, financial stability, and growth. Alex has held various operations, management, and leadership roles in the manufacturing, technology, and professional services sectors for the past 10 years. In addition, he has experience with both younger, entrepreneurial organizations and larger, more mature companies.

Alex’s functional experience is varied, having held positions in operations, finance, strategy, marketing, and organizational improvement. Most recently, he led a technology consulting & engineering services organization through the transition process from entrepreneurship to mature company. Because of this broad experience, Alex is uniquely positioned to help clients understand how all parts of an organization can come together to successfully implement a strategy, exceed customer expectations, and ultimately realize strong financial results.

Education

Alex received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Wabash College and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Associations and Community Involvement

Alex has taught classes in Operations Management, and has been an active volunteer related to children’s causes, including serving as an advocate for abused & neglected children in court.
